Toastmaster meetings are just fun. I met many new friends and also several long lost friends at Toastmaster meetings.

As I have to complete my projects, it gives me a chance to revive my learning to apply more figures of speech, cautious on pronunciation words when speaking and practice my writing skills again.

Hi all, my name is Ho Loon and I am glad to be part of the Sky Media Toastmasters family. Although I have attended only 2 meetings, they were most fun and memorable experiences. My heartfelt thanks go to Kris, Chai Tun, Eskay, Yiang Ping and many others, for introducing me to the fantastic world of Toastmasters, and for the friendship that you have extended to me. Cheers!!!

Shu Konno is our 1^st foreign addition and a rare gem! English is not his mother tongue and he told us that he joined Toastmasters to improve his English. Interestingly, our mother tongue is also not English! So you see, we are all here to help each other be the best we can be!

We hope to have more foreign members to add "flavour" to our club. We want to be more multi-cultural and multi-national. We want to hear more of their views.

He has been with us for three months and has already completed two speech projects. Kudos to his commitment! Hooray Shu! Keep it up!

This picture was taken September 30, 2004, Sky Media's last meeting in Newton Road. That is the evening I signed-up for Sky Media Toastmasters Membership, delivered my Icebreaker and poured my heart out. Geez!

By the way, my name is Lanie Francisco, a Filipina, the second foreign addition to Sky Media Toastmasters. I am the lady on the left wearing a pink shirt and khaki pants.
