SEMINAR ON FINANCIAL LITERACY
This is the first such chapter meeting of this kind ever organized by the Toa Payoh Central C C Toastmasters Club.
The sole objective is to provide in-house and visiting Toastmasters an opportunity to present their speeches as if they were seminar leaders.
Over time, through adequate practice, these Toastmasters could be professional seminar presenters. If response of such events is positive, the Club intends to conduct this once in every quarter for the rest of term 2006-2007.

Ms Tang Shiuh Ying
A practising member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore(ICPAS), and CPA member of CPA Australia. Has close to a decade of experience in both Big Four International accounting firms as well as local accounting firms, dealing with audit and assurance, taxation, accounting for MNCs, public listed companies and SMEs.

Mr Sam Chee Yee
A Chartered Financial Consultant and a chartered Life Underwriter. A Fellow with the Life Underwriter Training Council. Has been in the insurance and financial services sector for more than 13 years. Has earned numerous awards including the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table awards.

Mr Albert Lim
The speaker has a BA(Hons) in Economics, a Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance and a Diploma SCI(Life)and an Associate Financial & Wealth Planner.
Currently, a Senior Financial Advisor with a leading financial services provider, and has had wide experience in financial and retirement planning in the last 12 years. Has been an award recipient numerous times of the Million Dollar Round Table Award.

Mrs Suzanne Cheong-Foo
She speaks from her academic background of Economics with majors in Accounting, coupled with her valuable years of wide and diverse life-experiences under her belt. She was in corporate finance before she took the bold step into the insurance industry more than 13 years ago.
From there, she has embarked further into the financial advisory business where she now heads a team of financial advisers in a local investment WMG arm of a foreign investment/merchant bank.
Over the years, she has been recipient of achievement awards, notably the Million Dollar Round Table Award.

Mr Anthony Leong
Anthony Leong is a Systems Engineer by training. He has 19 years of Information Communication Technology industry experience while employed with IBM Singapore Pte. Ltd., IBM Business Partners and several Temasek-Linked Corporations.
The Speaker has a MBA in IT Management and BSc in Computer Science. Anthony is married to a health professional and has three teenagers.

Mr Kong Ho Loon
RICH MAN, POOR MAN
Having worked as an auditor, financial regulator, and now a compliance officer at a US investment bank, Ho Loon is well versed in financial and accounting issues.
He also has a deep interest in financial planning matters, and has obtained the CFP designation in 2004. Ho Loon is a CPA and has a degree in Accountancy.
