Our History
Sky Media Toastmasters Club
The Sky Media Group was established in Singapore in 1995 to focus on the development of high quality education content for primary and secondary school students. The software was marketed by a group of direct marketers - the Sky Consultants.
In-House Club
The Sky Media Toastmasters Club was formed as an in-house Club in April 1998 forming one component in the Sky Consultants' training programme

As members, the Sky Consultants learn communication skills which will help them increase their income from selling Sky Media's products.
A Club of Leaders - The 3 Governors
The Club also provides members opportunities to learn valuable leadership skills, an area the Company was prepared to invest in.
To this end, in Year 2003/2004, we have 3 Area Governors from our Club, a feat few Club can boast of. For both 2002/2003 and 2003/2004, the Presidents of the Club was voted "Toastmaster of the Year" at the Area Level.
President's Distinguished Club
The Club has also attained the President's Distinguished Club Status for 3 years consecutively. This is an award from Toastmasters International that recognises the excellence and achievements of the clubs.
Recently, the Sky Media Group has annouced that they will be focusing their emphasis on their China operations and scaling down local operations. As a result, the continued existence of Sky Media Toastmasters Club has to be reorganised independent of the Sky Media Group.
